You must also arrange for the following to be sent directly to the Department of Geological Sciences:
- official transcripts
- official ETS record of GRE scores
- official ETS record of TOEFL score (only for International students for whom English is not their native language)
The ETS code (for sending GRE and TOEFL scores) is 1324 for Indiana University and 0504 for the Department of Geological Sciences. These should be sent to: Graduate Services Coordinator, Department of Geological Sciences, Indiana University, 1001 E. 10th Street, Bloomington, IN 47405. You must send official transcripts and GRE/TOEFL documents even if you upload unofficial copies in the online application.
All potential applicants are encouraged to contact members of the faculty within their area of interest to initiate a dialog about research opportunities. This process helps to create a faculty advocate for the applicant, and provides a focus for interactions during a visit.
