Application deadlines
December 1, 2012 for international students, January 15, 2013 for domestic applicants.
You will need to complete the online application for to Indiana University at http://www.graduate.indiana.edu/admissions.php
You must also arrange for the following to be sent directly to the Department of Geological Sciences:
- official transcripts
- a statement of research purpose
- three letter of recommendation
- GRE scores
- Internatioal students from whom English is not their native language must also submit scores for the TOEFL
These should be sent to Ms. Mary Iverson, Graduate Secretary, Department of Geological Sciences, Indiana University, 1001 E. 10th Street, Bloomington, IN 47405.
All potential applicants are encouraged to contact members of the faculty within their area of interest to initiate a dialog about research opportunities. This process helps to create a faculty advocate for the applicant, and provides a focus for interactions during a visit.
