Indiana University - Prospective Students
The Department of Geological Sciences provides training for those who want to become professional geologists and seek careers in university or college teaching, in industry, in research laboratories, and in federal and state geological surveys; for those who wish to teach earth science at the secondary school level; and for those who seek a general knowledge of geology and its relationship to other sciences.
The two undergraduate degrees offered are Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geology and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geology.
